The Made to Be Me curriculum has three programs designed to make the biggest impact in Kindergarten-2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade, and 6th-8th grade classrooms.

The Made to Be Me curriculum is for all K-8 classroom teachers, support staff who meet with students in small to large groups, and counseling staff.

Technology needed includes: 

• Internet

• Ability to access Google Slides
• To best utilize all aspects of the program teachers should be able to access YouTube videos
• TV, Smartboard, etc. where the teacher can stream, share, or project the lesson 

Lessons are teacher-led, not intended to post on a site like Google Classrooms for students to complete on their own.

We get adaptability and we've got you covered. 

Whether you're in-person, hybrid, or virtual our lessons work exactly the same and we've even provided supplemental virtual activities when needed. 

Our program is run through our Made to Be Me Portal and Google Slides. Lessons can be easily taught in the classroom via any digital projection system or taught virtually via screen share. 

We crafted our program with student impact and teacher simplicity in mind. The framework and delivery of each lesson is the same while the content is fresh, engaging, and powerful. Keeping each lesson's framework the same; digital, fully prepared, and accessible with the click of a button, allows the teacher to access and teach the daily content from anywhere to anywhere. 

***Please note: The MTBM program is designed to be teacher-led. These lessons cannot be posted in a Google Classroom/class website for students to do individually. Lessons and activities must be presented by the teacher in-person or via screen share virtually.***

Additional support is available in the form of live virtual sessions based on your school needs and is available for purchase at checkout.

Possible support sessions may include:

• Schoolwide Introduction to SEL session followed by Q&A
• One 30-minute virtual meeting with each grade level to support as needed
• Two 30-minute virtual sessions to be used as determined by the school throughout the year

Teachers will all receive a Made to Be Me portal login where they can utilize all SEL materials, training, and teacher guide. 

Daily lessons are housed in Google Slides and teachers can make a shortcut to the lessons directly in their Google account for quick daily access. 

Access times are always convenient and prompt deteremined by the subscription you purchased. A team member will contact you within 24 hours of purchase (M-F 8AM-6PM CST) to go over your school's information and hear how we can best serve you. An access start date will be determined at this time.  

Our curriculum is intentionally designed to be flexible and easily implemented during any time of the day. Choose a time that works best for your school. We've found the following times work especially well:

Since lessons are 15 minutes or less they fit perfectly: 

• in a welcome or morning meeting preparing the class for a successful day
• during the first 10 minutes back after recess/lunch to help students transition and set the tone for the afternoon 
• at the end of the day as a way to wrap up and set a positive mindset for tomorrow
• during homeroom period

Studies show that even 20 minutes a week (that's only 1-2 of our lessons a week) can improve students' attitude towards school, confidence, and social-emotional skills.
